Cork City Council is association with A.U.R.I. Present Oíche don Úcráin -a Night for Ukraine
For Seachtain na Gaeilge Cork City Council’s Oifig Forbartha Gaeilge ( Irish Development Office) sometimes organise an evening of Irish music and culture to celebrate the occasion in the Concert Hall, City Hall, Cork.
In light of the present crisis in Ukraine this has been repurposed as
Oíche don Úcráin -a Night for Ukraine
with a galaxy of stars from the Irish music and cultural scene together with Ukrainian counterparts who immediately lent their support to the event.
This event will take place on the evening of Thursday 31st March 2022 in the Concert Hall, City Hall, Cork
Among the acts confirmed are
Jimmy Crowley, Nell Ní Chróinín, John Spillane, Karan Casey
Mná na bPíob- Máire Ní Ghráda, Rosaleen O' Leary, Mary Mitchell-Ingoldsby, Heather Clarke agus Molly Ní Ghráda.
Olena Lesya Iglody, Oksana Dobronos, Nadiya Yalova (Ukraine)
Daltaí ó Ghaelscoil Uí Riada agus Gaelscoil Ghort Álainn.

House Band: The Céillí Allstars
Proceeds from the concert will go to AURI ( Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland) to be disbursed to the various international relief organisations as appropriate.
Tickets are available online only through the People’s Republic of Cork website (PROC) and the concert will be streamed live on the city council website with an option to donate being available.
