Blues For Palestine featuring Karen Casey with Pat Crowley & Dizzy Blues Band. Blues For Palestine is an event to increase awareness of the plight of the people trying to exist there. It is small part of a national week long event, Palfest. http://www.palfestireland.net. Through many artistic events we express Solidarity and we commemorate the onslaught on Gaza this time two years ago. Amongst the atrocities were 551 dead children. That particular fact was highlighted at our Sandymount installation last year. Programme: 9:00 PM Doors Open. Free admission but donations for the educational charity selected by Palfest will be most welcome. 9:15 PM Screening of 'Small hands in handcuffs'. This is a documentary film made by a then 16 year old Anraí Carroll.
