Ed Romanoff's eleven song, self-titled debut was a Roots Radio Top 100 Album for 2012, has been played in 13 countries and ranked as high as number 12 on the European Americana Charts. Produced by Crit Harmon, the album’s smoky haze and rustic sounds paint a moody landscape to showcase Ed’s earthy voice. Numerous songs from Ed’s inaugural effort won top awards at songwriting competitions. Most recently he joined Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, James McMurtry, and Nanci Griffith as a New Folk Winner at the Kerrville Folk Festival. 'Grand Prize Winner' - Great American song contest 'Song of the year'- Nashville Songwriters Association International Clive Barnes has been slowly gaining a worldwide reputation as one of the finest Lapslide/Regular acoustic guitarist and songwriters on todays scene. One thinks perhaps of Ry Cooder, of J.J. Cale, of Kelly Joe Phelps, of old blues, jazz and bluegrass players. This guy must surely be from the Deep South, maybe the Mississippi Delta. Sorry, but your geography is just a tad out. Clive Barnes hails from South East Ireland, Enniscorthy to be exact. "With irresistible panache, Clive Barnes has produced a benchmark for songwriters."
